Your First Visit:

Your first visit to the orthodontists is an exciting time for everyone! Upon arriving at our office, our professional staff will make you feel at ease and comfortable. We pride ourselves on caring for each and every patient and making everyone feel welcome. We feel a fun office environment can make the orthodontic experience easy for patients of all ages.

Dr. Galkin will do an examination to determine the orthodontic needs and may recommend taking x-rays and digital photographs to be utilized for a consultation. They will assist the doctor in making a diagnosis and plan of treatment. He can then sit down with you and answer any of the questions that you may have about your treatment.

Regular Appointments:

When appliances (braces, expanders, etc.) are initially placed a longer visit is necessary that can take anywhere from 45 to 90 minutes. After this, you will then see us for what we call “adjustment” visits. These appointments take between 15 to 30 minutes and are now done in 6 to 8 week intervals, because of new technologies in orthodontics. Longer appointments are scheduled in the morning and the early afternoon. By doing this, we do not reserve an entire afternoon for one or two patients but rather accommodate as many families as possible for after-school appointments.

Payment Options:

We offer different payment options (including a no-interest, monthly payment plan) designed to suit different budgets. Each patient’s problems differ and cost of treatment will be based upon this. This will also be discussed at the consultation appointment prior to initiating any treatment, thus making the most of the valuable time you have set aside from your busy schedule to meet with us.

Insurance:

Insurance coverage will be confirmed as soon as possible after your initial visit to help you determine available benefits. Assignment of benefits to us is available in most instances, and we will bill your company as a courtesy to you. We will help in every way we can in filing your claim and handling insurance questions from our office on your behalf.
